Acting

Acting

In our film, it consists of two very different groups. We have the bullies and then we have the vulnerable characters. So it portray these conceptions, they actors/actresses need to be able to physically show these interpretations.

Gestures

All the characters need to use the correct gestures in order to portray the right character. For example the characters that are being bullied are more likely to be more to themselves to emphasis that vulnerability. In our film you can see that Scarlett (Rebecca) is being bullied and targeted by the other girls by the way she uses her body. Her shoulders are down and also her head. This also hows that she's is trying her best to avoid all the confrontation that is behind her. However, the bullies are the complete opposite and instead of showing vulnerability, they show a lot of arrogance and no sympathy or remorse. They all snigger when approaching Scarlett and that shows that they are completely comfortable with  making someone else uncomfortable. They show a lot of pride to what they are doing  because of their smiles and confidence. They also use intimidation by bringing their faces really close to Scarlett's when she tries to avoid the situation.

Tone of voice

The tone of voice varies in order to show emphasis. Scarlett doesn't say anything when she is with the bullies that is purely because of intimidation, but she doesn't hesitate to speak to Daniel (Josh).

Film Change

We've changed part of the beginning of the film, when Veronica is running through the forest she was supposed to filmed running, tripping then on her back being enveloped in blackness with a scream in the background, but due to problems filming (first time it got too dark, second time there were problems uploading it then she dyed her hair, so we couldn't record her for anything else) we've changed it so there is a voice over like on some other horror films like Zombieland (a horror comedy).
We've made it so after Veronica has been running the scene fades to black, you'll hear a scream with a black screen then as pictures of Scarlett move on screen titles will come up and you will hear the below speech as a voice over.

Script for the film change

Josh:
A girl, lost in pain and rage that she takes out on herself, brought to this dark place by the people who surround her.
Although there was hope she had already passed the limitation of how much she could take.
After it all, the only verdict is vengeance, a vendetta in her name.
So lets go back to see how it all began.

Pictures for editing

This was my first attempt. I used instagram first & chose the X-Pro11 to darken the picture. Then i blurred the background and put focus on Rebecca's
face and neck.

This was my second attempt in editing. For this version, i used photoscape. I mainly focused on the contrast of picture to give it a darker, more surreal look.

Logo Idea

I used the first letter of each our first names; Paige, Amanda and Rebecca.
Then par is a word used in golf particularly and the saying 'on par' means on target and we plan to be on target with our production, hense Par Productions.
